Welcome to the website of the Cinque Port Morris Men. The picture above was taken on our third May Day out - dancing up the sun on May 1st 2010 at Smallhythe Place. More photos are available on our Photo Gallery page.
We have a busy summer season of dancing planned for 2013 and dates are continuing to be confirmed in the Diary section. We generally dance out each Thursday evening in the summer starting at 8:00 pm. Check the diary for details.
The side was established in January 2008 with a desire to dance with passion and commitment and to uphold the best traditions of Morris Dancing. We dance cotswold style morris based on the village traditions of Adderbury, Fieldtown and Bampton and are currently associate members of the Morris Ring.
We are followed on our travels by a wild hooden horse by the name of Captain Clegg. No one knows where the horse came from but it can be temporarily made tame by feeding it money!
If you are interested in becoming a member please read the Practice section or come and talk to us at one of our stands.
